......What the??.............

I know that I've been writing celebrity fluff entries lately and well, this past week proved why. Celebrity gossip is an escape for me. Don't get me wrong I still check in with my news blogs but I try not to do it often. This world is so fucked up and chaotic....I fear that there is no end in sight.


My God, Israel and Lebanon are basically at war like the way Kurt and Goldie are "married". The children that live there....I just can't imagine living in that kind of environment. Granted, everything here is in the states isn't all sunshine and puppies but Americans aren't forced into their basements or bomb shelters. We don't have to worry about our friends and family not coming home every time they go out. Nor do we have to dela with bombs going off at a nonstop rate. Some people are dealt bad hands in life and I know that it's a truth that we must all accept but....it's just hard.


Children shouldn't have to live in constant fear. They should be able to play outside or walk the streets with their families without any worry...but they can't.


This Dixie Chicks song "Easy Silence" perfectly describes how I'm feeling. Their album Taking the Long Way is excellent but "Easy Silence" is definitely the stand out track.
