...Saints, sinners, stripping and everything else.....

Humans are not saints and yes, I'm including celebrities in that group. We're all sinners and denying that is like denying our own moratlity. Even experiencing feelings like envy or lust is committing a sin. If you're reading this telling yourself that you've never committed a sin then you're in denial and you're extremely repressed. Instead of choosing to be in denial when we "sin" we should just accept what we've done, learn from it and move on. It's pointless and quite honestly, it will backfire.

Jennifer Garner fans, I know this is going to be a hard truth for you to swallow, but Ms. Garner is not a saint. She is human, she has flaws and just like everyone in this world, she sins. The difference between you and myself is, I'm willing to see her mistakes and call her out on them. While you on the other hand, blindly support her becuase she is charming, nice, talented and pretty, but if she didn't have any of the qualities that I have listed you would judge her like I have and you would do it unashamedly.

No small town girl from the South is the same after living in Hollywood for a couple of years, including Ms. Garner. Her relationship with Ben is a tabloid's and publicist's wet dream. For the past couple of months she has remained in the tabloids, and legitimate magazines for doing next to do nothing. What has she done? Oh, that's right, she is not denying or confirming her pregnancy because let's face it, there is no such thing as bad publicity. Unless her next movie is box-office hit then she will forever be the tabloid's poster girl just like how her alleged fiancee is the poster boy. Can anyone name a recent project that he has been invovled with that hasn't been a total failure? Anyone?? That's what I thought.

Ms. Garner and her fans do have one thing in common, they're in denial. She believes that marriage will make Ben an honest man and her child will not be illegitimate even though it is. Then there's this notion that once the baby is born and they are officially married he will quit smoking, stop gambling and become a better man. Her need for attention and naviete prevented her to realize that she already had a better man and his name is Michael Vartan. Her fans are not willing to accept that Jennifer has become infected by Hollywood and is no longer the sweet fresh faced, selfless and personable individual she once was. She is a coward by not confirming or denying the rumors surrounding her, selfish (she didn't tell ABC that she was pregnant therefore putting the executives at ABC in a major bind), and she is now paparazzi's dream because instead of being cordial with them like she was with Michael she is angry and tries to hide from them by running to Ben's Bentley. Yes, she is some kind of saint isn't she?

How can I talk about saints without mentioning sinners? My favorite kind of sinners are the repressed hypocrites also known as conservatives. Well, not all of them but most. After attending a Republican fund-raiser, Ms. Mary Carey did various television interviews on MSNBC and CNN. Ms. Carey was kept away from any major figures within the party but was propositioned by a few who wanted to her to be a guest star in their threesomes. Obviously these individuals were fans of hers yet they've publicly denounced pornography. This means that conservatives are not as open with themselves as Michelle Malkin on allalias believes. Anyway, I believe Ms. Carey because she is a pornstar, not a known liar and it's quite obvious from her interview with John Avarosis (from americablog) that honestly is her policy and she doesn't have an "edit" button in her mind.

Let's not forget about Jim West and Mr. McGreevey the man that had an extramarital affair with A MAN. Yet, he is stil with his wife. It seems as if denial and being a beard suits Mrs. McGreevey very well. Now don't misunderstand me, I don't believe that all Republicans are repressed and anti-gay but if it can get them votes then they will temporarily put on that hate hat and wave the anti-gay signs.


Let's see, I've crossed out saints, sinners and now it's time for stripping kids! "WOOT! WOOT!" As Meg would say. I read that Ben likes to takeout his penis when not needed which I would imagine is never! On the set of the horrendous film Surviving Christmas he had taken out his penis and placed it on a briefcase while shooting a scene with Christina Applegate and she was grossed out. I would be too for Gawd sakes! I also find out that he played the same prank on Kevin Smith during Jersey Girl except he put his penis on his NECK!! What straight man puts his penis on his best friend's neck??? Correct me if I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure that this can qualify as sexual harassment. He is one sick mofo. Yes, Jennifer definitely chose a winner!

So Tom and Katie are betrothed. Is anyone really surprised? I'm not and if they're for real or in my street speak fo' realz then I wish them the best. Right now they're still in the honeymoon phase and if they get married very soon they will both come crashing down to reality when they realize that the honeymoon is over. Their flaws will be revealed and Katie will realize that her teen crush is a mere mortal. The only possible way a marriage can last between is if Katie doesn't strive to be as famous and succesful as him because if she does this will be his third divorce and her first failed marriage.

There is not an A-list married couple that exists and this is a fact. One partner has to be willing to step back and let the other shine or both parties have to be in the lower rankings, B, C or D list to have a lasting marriage. This is love people, Hollywood style. It doesn't matter if the picture is genuine, all people care about is how great it looks and if it can pass as the real thing.

Wow, and I thought that my mind was going to explode when I found out that Bennifer 2 only got engaged because one of them are preggers. Oh, I spoke too soon.

When a news release crossed our desk yesterday proclaiming that a porn star named Mary Carey would attend a June dinner with President Bush , we figured it had to be a hoax. But it's true. It just won't be an intimate dinner with the prez.

Carey's boss, hard-core porn producer Mark Kulkis of Los Angeles, has ponied up $5,000 for two tickets to a National Republican Congressional Committee event called the President's Dinner and Salute to Freedom. Kulkis, who locked in his tickets by credit card yesterday, tells us he will take the 24-year-old Carey (real name: Mary Cook ) as his date.

The star of such XXX videos as "Grand Opening," Carey ran as an independent candidate for California governor in the 2003 recall election, coming in seventh with 10,110 votes. Kulkis managed her campaign.

Committee spokeswoman Caryn Alagno assured us that the porno pair would be among hundreds of donors attending the June 14 dinner at the Washington Convention Center.

"If he says that he's coming, he's coming," she told us. "This dinner is in a huge ballroom and there are going to be lots of people there."

Contemplating a run for California lieutenant governor next year, the voluptuous actress says she hopes to network with GOP officials here. "I'm especially looking forward to meeting Karl Rove," she cooed in a statement. "Smart men like him are so sexy."

Kulkis, who donated $500 to the NRCC earlier this year, said in his news release: "Republicans bill themselves as pro-business. Well, you won't find a group of people more pro-business than pornographers. We contributed over $10 billion to the national economy last year." He is also an honorary chair of the NRCC's business advisory council -- a title gained by contribution, of course.

Said Alagno: "There will be many honorary chairs."

Can't wait to see the seating arrangements.

Is this Bush’s way of bringing dignity back to the White House? So far, he’s failing and he’s not even aware of it (much like a lot of things in his life). First, there was the Jeff Gannon AKA the male escort/fake journalist and now there’s the porn duo of Mary and Mark. Morals and values seem to disappear once a large sum of money is involved. Unlike the Christian pharmacists who refuse to go against their morals by not doing their job, the Bush administration doesn’t care where their donations come from just as long as it ends up in their account.

This is the same President that once declared “Protection From Pornography Week” in October of 2003. Yet, his handlers are allowing a hardcore porn star and her producer into the White House. I’m expecting one of those Christian focus family groups to started mobilizing but it seems as if they’re choosing to be blind to the issue. Maybe I should show my breast on national television to get their attention.

Pornography can have debilitating effects on communities, marriages, families, and children. During Protection From Pornography Week, we commit to take steps to confront the dangers of pornography.

The effects of pornography are particularly pernicious with respect to children. The recent enactment of the PROTECT Act of 2003 strengthens child pornography laws, establishes the Federal Government's role in the AMBER Alert System, increases punishment for Federal crimes against children, and authorizes judges to require extended supervision of sex offenders who are released from prison.

We have committed significant resources to the Department of Justice to intensify investigative and prosecutorial efforts to combat obscenity, child pornography, and child sexual exploi-ta-tion on the Internet. We are vigorously prosecuting and severely punishing those who would harm our children. Last July, the Department of Homeland Security launched Operation Predator, an initiative to help identify child predators, rescue children depicted in child pornography, and prosecute those responsible for making and distributing child pornography.

Last year, I signed legislation creating the Dot Kids domain, a child-friendly zone on the Internet. The sites on this domain are monitored for content and safety, offering parents assurances that their children are learning in a healthy environment. Working together with law enforcement officials, parents, and other caregivers, we are making progress in protecting our children from pornography.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, GEORGE W. BUSH, President of the United States of America, by virtue of the authority vested in me by the Constitution and laws of the United States, do hereby proclaim October 26 through November 1, 2003, as Protection From Pornography Week. I call upon public officials, law enforcement officers, parents, and all the people of the United States to observe this week with appropriate programs and activities.

It's no secret that female recording artists have used their sexuality to sell records. The mother of reinvention, Madonna, has been doing it for over twenty years. So, why are people still stunned when Christina Aguilera arrives to an award show wearing a halter top and a miniskirt?

Celebrities are the LAST people that should be viewed as role models. They live a life of excess and luxury. Therefore, they have their own set of rules. This is can be confirmed by the certain television shows like “The Fabulous of..” and “It's Good to Be...” However, what people seem to forget is that celebrities are human and humans make mistakes. The difference between Robert Downey Jr. and John Doe is that Robert lives his life in the public eye. When he messes up, the press has a field day. The same can be said about Britney Spears, when pictures of her smoking were printed in every tabloid it caused a big controversy. If she were not Britney Spears the superstar, she would just be another smoker.

The minute a celebrity falls from grace, he or she immediately gets condemned and in some cases they lose their role model title. This is just absurd because everyone has their flaws and if a role model is someone that is perfect or close to it, then a role model is just an idea and not an actual person. People are going to live their lives the way they want to despite what others say or do and yes, celebrities are people too.

Frankly, it gets tiring to constantly hear parents blaming Britney or Christina for the way their seven-year-old daughter dresses. Christina and Britney do not wear revealing clothing when they are out on the streets and this is obvious from the numerous paparazzi photos and video footage that is taken of them. At most, they will be seen wearing a halter top or a short skirt. The outfits they wear on stage or on magazine covers are costumes; it's just for show. Entertainers are paid to perform for people, nothing else. It's not their job to raise America's children; that is the parents’ responsibility. Parents should not blame a pop princess because they can't control the way their own child dresses.

It's amusing how Britney and Christina get called “whores” or “sluts” by the media and parents whenever they wear a provocative outfit, but when Beyonce Knowles does the same, it's “Sexy” as some critics have said. Beyonce is not that much different than Britney and Christina. In fact, Christina is a year older than Beyonce while Britney is four months younger. The songstresses have topped the pop charts since their late teens, each has their own dolls, they' have all worn revealing clothing and have posed on the same magazine covers. The only difference is that Beyonce is African American while Christina and Britney are Caucasian.

When Britney wore her now infamous flesh colored, rhinestone covered two-piece costume at the 2000 MTV Video Music Awards, The New York Post called her a “A stripper without a pole.” In 2003, Christina wore nothing but a guitar on the cover of Rollingstone magazine, she was labeled a “whore”. For her 2001 Grammy performance, Beyonce, much like Britney, stripped down to a green bikini top and hot pants and no one said a word. After the performance, she accepted a Grammy while still wearing the barely there outfit. Christina arrived at the 2002 MTV Video Music Awards wearing a revealing halter top and miniskirt that was very similar to one worn by Beyonce in Stuff magazine a year before. Yet, as expected Beyonce escaped criticism while Christina was called a “hooker” by the press. It's completely unfair how Beyonce can get away with being scantily clad but Britney and Christina cannot.

Since the beginning of their careers, Britney and Christina have always been criticized for being overtly sexual in their music videos, photographs and with their music. Beyonce's most recent album has a number of songs that are equally provocative. In the music video for “Baby Boy” Beyonce's upper torso is barely covered by a skimpy halter top as she seductively writhes around on a bed. While she is gyrating, her sweaty body, she is crooning about how she wants her lover to “fulfill her fantasy”. Yet, she received no criticism whatsoever. Christina Aguilera's music video for “Dirrty” was called “Pornographic.”

Unlike Britney and Christina, Beyonce has refused to comment on her sex life when asked by the press. However, there are various songs on her solo debut album Dangerously In Love,( penned by her) that are sexually suggestive. On the song “Baby Boy”, she croons about how she wants her lover to “fulfill” her “fantasy” and on the track “Naughty Girl” she sings about how a specific man is making her feel “nasty” and she likes it! The hit “Independent Women” contains this provocative line, “Only ring your celly when I’m feeling lonely/When it’s over, please get up and leave.” None of her songs have been skewered by the press and parents like Christina’s “Dirrty” or Britney’s “Slave 4 U.” It’s as if Beyonce has a free pass and while her Caucasian peers are constantly being condemned for committing the same “crimes.”

Minorities, especially women, are frequently featured in many hip hop videos wearing next to nothing as men are pouring bottles of Cristal all over them. Also, talk shows like Maury Povich or Jerry Springer feature minority women wearing next to nothing and yet, both of these shows have remained on the air for years. This image of minority women being degraded by men is so common that society is almost desensitized by it. Female rapper Lil’ Kim is constantly expected to be wearing barely there outfits whenever she arrives to an event. So, when Beyonce wears a see through diamond link top on the cover of her album, it does not even register with anyone, not even with conservative Christian family groups who have constantly attacked Britney and Christina and definitely not with the critics. One can only imagine the kind of reaction Britney would get if she did the same.

All three women are extremely talented and are very smart businesswomen. They are just using the same tactics that their predecessors like Madonna and Janet Jackson have done before them. Female sexuality is a very powerful weapon in the entertainment industry because it’s been proven many times that sex does sell and it sells really, really well. However, its use should not be condemned based on an individual’s age or race. If anything, these young ladies should be admired for their success and ambition. Each of these young ladies is living proof that goals can be accomplished, despite one’s age, gender, and race. Their determination is what little girls around the world should strive for and emulate, not their clothing. They each have worked so hard to get where they are at today. Their talent should get more recognition than their clothing and personal life. But in today's celebrity obsessed society, this seems very unlikely.
